Answer these six questions first
A supplier can only recommend accurately when the production requirement is specific.

What exactly are you packing? Is it free-flowing, dusty, sticky, fragile or irregular?
Fill weight
What is the minimum and maximum weight per pouch?
Pouch
What pouch style, dimensions and laminate will you use?
Output
How many finished pouches per minute/hour do you realistically need?
Utilities
What electrical supply and compressed air are available at the site?
Options
Do you need coding, nitrogen flushing, conveyor, check-weighing or other integration?
For powders
Fine powders and spice products often require controlled dosing. Ask how the filler handles flowability, dust and target accuracy. Auger-based configurations are commonly evaluated for powder applications.
For granules & snacks
Free-flowing products may suit cup fillers or weighing systems depending on accuracy, fragility and speed. Compare the complete filling + forming + sealing system, not just the bagger.
